About Me
MY STORY
Hi, I'm Lara Sheldrake, an advocate for purpose led businesses and people braving the world of entrepreneurship. Community and impact is my love language and connection is my goal.
I am a business mentor, founder of Found & Flourish and creator of the Community Collective. I bring a wealth of experience as a seasoned Social Media Strategist, events, and community expert. Before becoming a mother, I ran a profitable social media consultancy, working with clients within the start-up, health and wellbeing space.
After having my son, I shifted my focus towards creating an online learning platform and community for women and non-binary people in the business world. Motivated by my own experiences of isolation, I wanted to establish a space that's not only welcoming but also effortlessly accessible (and fun!).
I’ve had multiple burnouts and learned loads in the process. I now share my learnings and insights with my clients and mentees, guiding them to build the businesses and communities they dream of, without burning out in the process.

I'm on a mission to simplify business and community building. I help passionate founders and businesses strengthen connections with teams and communities, ensuring more profit and less hassle. I’m all about making your impact and success, enjoyable and sustainable.
WHAT I DO
From hosting sell out events across Europe for Found & Flourish and The Startup Grind, to organically growing a network of 40k strong, I now share my insights through my platform and as a guest speaker.
I also offer my expertise to businesses, guiding them in incorporating community into their company culture. I'm passionate about supporting founders and business owners in cultivating engaged communities aligned with their values and long-term business objectives.
Beyond my community focus, I write and talk about insights on entrepreneurship, motherhood, gender equality and navigating the online space for business.
